Owl
The owl is a very important character in the book. He told Mrs. Frisby about the rats of NIMH and about Justin and Nicodemus. Timothy would have died without the owl, or Jonathan Frisby, Mrs. Frisby's husband. With the mentioning of Jonathan Frisby's name, the owl is suprised and tells Mrs. Frisby about the rats of NIMH. Justin will be at the door and ask for Nicodemus, and for her to tell them her name. Also called the great owl.
